The challenge

Billable hours shouldn’t be spent assembling exhibits.

A solo or boutique firm spends an estimated 30% of attorney hours on work that doesn’t require a JD: intake, discovery prep, document assembly, calendaring, and matter management. That’s revenue you can’t bill and family time you can’t reclaim.

Hiring a full-time paralegal locally is expensive and slow. Generic offshore VAs lack legal training and can’t be trusted with confidential matters. Both options leave you doing the work yourself.

Zitro pairs you with paralegal-trained specialists — supervised by you, fluent in your case management software, and contractually bound to the same confidentiality standards your firm operates under.

Confidentiality & ethics

Built for the confidentiality standard your bar requires.

Confidentiality is non-negotiable in legal work. Our specialists train, sign, and operate under that standard — with technical and contractual safeguards to prove it.

Per-matter NDAs

Specialists sign per-matter NDAs in addition to baseline confidentiality. Conflict checks performed before placement on sensitive matters.

Locked-down endpoints

No local document storage, full-disk encryption, MFA, audited access logs. Document review happens inside your DMS or review platform.

Attorney supervision built-in

Every engagement is structured around your supervising attorney workflow. SOPs document escalation paths and unauthorized-practice boundaries.

Note — Zitro specialists provide paralegal and administrative support only and do not practice law. The engaging attorney remains responsible for supervision and for ensuring the engagement complies with their jurisdiction’s rules of professional conduct.

Questions, answered

Legal & Paralegal FAQ.

How do you ensure no unauthorized practice of law?
Specialists are trained on the boundary between paralegal work and the practice of law. SOPs document escalation paths for any judgment-laden question. Your supervising attorney signs all client-facing work and remains responsible for legal advice.
What about conflicts of interest?
Specialists complete a baseline conflict declaration on hiring, and matter-level conflict checks are performed before placement on sensitive engagements. We can route matters to specialists with no industry overlap on request.
Will specialists work in our document management system?
Yes. Specialists work inside your DMS (NetDocuments, iManage, Clio, etc.) using credentials you provision. No firm documents are stored on their endpoint.
What’s your coverage for sensitive client data?
Per-matter NDAs in addition to baseline. Encrypted endpoints. Audited access logs. We can scope specialists to matter-only access if your DMS supports it.
Can specialists handle court filings?
Yes — preparation and filing-window monitoring, but the supervising attorney signs and submits. We will not e-file under an attorney’s credentials without explicit authorization and an attorney countersign workflow.
How is pricing structured?
Flat monthly rates per specialist, scoped to part-time, full-time, or pod. Pricing varies by paralegal seniority and matter complexity. Final quote within one business day of discovery.
